How do I register for the marathon?
You can register online through our website, or visit our registration centers in Harare and Bulawayo. Online registration is recommended for convenience.
What are the entry fees?
All distances cost $20.00 per person with no early bird pricing or special discounts. Check our Entry Fees page for complete details.
Can I transfer my entry to someone else?
Entry transfers are allowed up to 2 weeks before the event with a small administrative fee. Contact our registration team for assistance.
What time does the marathon start?
The 42.195km race starts at 6:00 AM, 25km race at 6:30 AM, and 10km at 7:00 AM. Please arrive at least 1 hour before your start time.
Where is the start/finish area?
The start and finish area is located at the Great Zimbabwe National Monument. Detailed directions and parking information are available on our Routes & Maps page.
Is there parking available?
Yes, free parking is available at designated areas near the start/finish line. We recommend carpooling as parking spaces are limited.
What medical support is available?
We have medical teams stationed throughout the course and at the start/finish area. Emergency medical services are available 24/7 during the event.
Are there water stations on the course?
Yes, water and sports drink stations are located every 3-5 kilometers along the course. Hydration is crucial for your safety and performance.
What should I do if I feel unwell during the race?
Stop running immediately and seek assistance from course marshals or medical personnel. Your health and safety are our top priority.
How should I train for the marathon?
We recommend following a structured training plan for at least 16-20 weeks. Check our Training section for detailed plans for beginners and experienced runners.
What should I eat before the race?
Eat a light, carbohydrate-rich meal 2-3 hours before the race. Avoid heavy, fatty foods. Stay hydrated throughout the night before the race.
Can I run with headphones?
Headphones are allowed but not recommended for safety reasons. If you choose to wear them, keep the volume low to hear course marshals and emergency vehicles.
When will results be available?
Preliminary results will be posted at the finish area within 30 minutes of completion. Final results will be available online within 24 hours.
What are the prize categories?

Do I get a medal for finishing?
Yes! All finishers receive a commemorative medal. Special medals are awarded for age group winners and course records.
